Vijay R is a Research Scholar in the MAVENs group at the Department of Physics and Nanotechnology, SRMIST, KTR.

His work addresses how spin-orbit torque drives the motion of topological spin textures in layered magnets. Using micromagnetic simulations, he studies skyrmion dynamics in synthetic ferrimagnetic multilayers — mobility, the skyrmion Hall angle, and the conditions under which skyrmion motion can be guided along defined paths.
